Welcome to La Entrada High School (LEHS). We are an independent study high school located in the award winning Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. La Entrada is WASC accredited and offers NCAA and UC approved courses enabling graduates to be eligible for the CSU/UC system. La Entrada High School has been awarded the prestigious Exemplary Independent Study Recognition Awardfrom the California Consortium for Independent Study and the California Department of Education!
We offer a personalized high school diploma program for students who desire an alternative to the traditional school. LEHS is an accelerated program whereby students can graduate early by focusing on one subject at a time. Every four weeks, students complete a one semester-five credit course. Students taking concurrent classes through their resident high school, community college, and ROP are eligible to graduate after three years of high school!
LEHS offers a hybrid educational model. Our students have the option of taking textbook based courses, on-line courses, or a combination of both textbook and online courses.
La Entrada is a free student centered public high school that partners students, parents and staff to provide a dynamic learning environment that promotes high academic achievement, personal and social responsibility and empowers students to meet the challenges of the 21st Century. Student programs are personalized and designed to meet the goals, interests and learning style of each individual student.
